Susan & Ed

Hard to believe that we have been together since October 1995. Wow where did the time go??? Well, 3 boys later we are still going strong. Our love story...introduced May 1995 (the night Ed graduated from Sac State), started dating after a Halloween Party October 27, 1995. Long distance relationship Ed in Sunnyvale & Susan in Sacramento for 1 1/5 years. Susan finishes school and heads to Sunnyvale to be with Ed February 1997. Engaged in Maui, HI Memorial Day weekend May 1998. Married September 11, 1999. Bought a house & moved to San Jose May 2000. Worked ourselves to death to pay for the house. Traveled off and on for the last 6 years going on cruises, our honeymoon to the Mediterranean, camping, Hawaii several times. Boy was that the life....sleeping in, cinnamon rolls and champagne (boy do we miss that)!! Before we knew it we were parents. Colby arrived May 2002. Nickolas arrived April 2004. Adam March 2008. We love parenthood and for the most part we have embraced it. A few rough days along the way like today :0. We have enjoyed traveling with the boys going to Disneyland & Hawaii. We have remodeled our house and then some all with little kids. Life has been CRAZY but FUN. Who knew when Ed knocked on my door (don't ask me how he remembered where I lived) that we would end up here. Sure glad that he did!

Colby Alexander

We officially have a six year old! Our oldest son is the one who changed our lives for the better. He taught us many important things like take a time out or was it give a time out? Anyway, our life has transformed from work, work, work to play, play play. Even if it is just a quick trip to the playground, a walk around the block or a trip to Disneyland. Colby is shy and responsible, loves to snuggle and is the best big brother any little brother could ask for. He likes to sing, play Lego's and loves to boss people around. He has had a successful season playing T-Ball and has just about survived Kindergarten. WOW! I have really enjoyed helping in his class. He has a great class and a wonderful teacher! We have enjoyed a few afternoons out just the two of us. Lunch & Nickel City need I say more? Getting to experience so many things through his eyes. It has really has opened ours. By the way he has just lost a tooth. The other tooth has already started to come in! We love the sparkle in his eyes.

Nickolas James Larson

Nickolas is our little funny man. A real lovable guy. He is so funny that when he gets busted he will run and get a dandelion and give it to me so that it will make me happy....and it does. I have never gotten so many flowers in my life! Nickolas definitely has personality. He is shy and crazy, smart and adorable all at the same time. He is about to finish his first year at Clement Preschool and he loves it. He is learning so much and is becoming more and more independent every day. We had a Mother's Day Tea at his school and he was so happy that I was there. I had a great time spending time with him. I loved my hugs and kisses. He made me a flower and it made me happy. He shared with everyone that I buy frozen waffles and he serenaded me with a song. A Mother's Day I will never forget! Last month he turned 4 and I have to say he will always be my baby! He also has been helping Ed with chores. Ed has a new little shadow. A real big helper!

Adam Joseph Larson

Hard to believe that Adam has been part of the Larson family for over 2 months (8 weeks & 5 days). He is a true joy and we have enjoyed every minute of him. We thought the novelty of a new baby might wear off and that Colby & Nickolas might not be as interested BUT that is clearly not the case. Colby MUST have his snuggle time in the morning and Nickolas goes into BIG Brother mode as soon as we drop off Colby. As for Ed & I we are trying to savor every baby moment. Adam is cooing and blowing bubbles, likes to stretch out and look out into the world, eats and sleeps very well (all night most of the time). He loves to smile and he has really adorable dimples. We can't help but look at him and wonder if he'll be the one to change the world. He really has made our family complete. We are truly blessed for the third time!

Our Boys

We are just about to celebrate another birthday! It is official we have a March (Adam), April (Nickolas) and a May (Colby) Birthday! How did that happen??? We will be celebrating a Baptism in June too. Just in time for Summer Vacation. You must be wondering what we'll be doing to occupy Not 1, Not 2 but 3 adorable little boys this Summer. You'll just have to wait and see!
