Dinner with PaPa Mike

We were finally able to connect with PaPa Mike for Dinner. We hit Marie Calendar's on a weeknight! Ed was out of town in San Diego. The boys were totally behaved! Adam ate us out of house and home. PaPa has been working so hard lately he was ready for a break. It was nice that we were able to visit. The food was yummy too! The boys have always enjoyed eating with PaPa Mike. Appateasers and Desert especially! Adam is no exception. PaPa next time dinner is on us!

Gramme Celebrated her birthday in San Jose!

Gramme and PaPa Ed came to our house for Gramme's birthday on October 11. Susan, CeCe and Ardie had a day of shopping! A rare treat for all of us to be together. We were able to get a few things and spent quite awhile at Borders. It was a nice day!! We actually, came home after a day of shopping to a fabulous dinner prepared by her son Ed and 2 desserts (a lemon cake made by Colby & Nickolas and a lemon pie made by CeCe) Boy were they yummy!! The boys loved having Gramme and PaPa around. It is always a great time! We loved having them down for a visit. As you can tell Adam did too! Colby & Nickolas had a lot of soccer that weekend too!

Slumber Party with Grandma

In September, Grandma came down to give mom and dad a break! While she was here she entertained the boys with a slumber party complete with soda floats and movies! Did they have a blast???? That is an understatement! They played, had visitors, drank soda floats, ate dinner, drank soda floats. Of course, Grandma came bearing gifts....they were thrilled. They really love hanging out with Grandma especially when it is a slumber party. This time it was actually an early night....they all pooped out early. Grandma we love you and are thankful you can control the boys. It gives us peace of mind when you are around!

Catching Up!

Seems like all I have been doing lately is playing catch up! It is a wonder that I have managed to get the boys to school on time every day.....with time to spare. My days seem to fly by lately! I wonder why?? Today is Halloween and today is no different! It is the calm before the storm so, I am taking advantage of it! So, the following posts will be me trying to catch up before getting the little monsters ready for Trick or Treat.

I love Boys!

Just wanted to say that I was happy to a part of Chantelle's baby shower. She is one upping me with her 4th boy! I know some of you will be intimitated and you should be! It takes a strong woman to raise these future husbands. Chantelle is a great mom and is adorable pregnant. Her boys are so adorable that this one has melted our hearts and we haven't even met him yet. Annessa threw the shower and was a great hostess. She gave me this great recipe as my contribution to the shower was making the punch and supplying the venue.

The punch recipe was cool. Blue Koolaid, 7 up, Pina Colada mix (no Booze) and vanilla ice cream.....Don't forget the Rubber Duck! Not only is it BLUE but is adorable too! You're Awesome Annessa.

It was a fun evening! Too Bad it was a school night. I know that we will all be dragging tomorrow. Thank you girls for being such good friends. You are my faithful blog buddies and I know you will read this!

Oh yeah! Tell Melissa THANKS for the pan!

I have a lot to catch up on........

So I am a bit behind. We had a slumber party with Grandma! Gramme celebrated her Birthday! Had a fantastic dinner with PaPa Mike! Been to the Pumpkin Patch! Adam has more Teeth! Picture Day for the boys! I'll be updating my blog shortly with a few new stories. Just wanted the important people we love to know we haven't forgotten about them!

Is it Possible??

Today was a crazy day.....We were "almost" late to school. We all know that "almost" doesn't count right?? Had an impromptu playdate with Nickolas' friend Ryan. What a blessing! They play great together. Adam was a bit fussy but totally manageable. It was an early release day for Colby so before I knew it I was feeding Adam, then off to pick up Nick, then Colby. We were off again....to the dentist. Ed and I often joke what we have to do to just rent the place for the day. It works well when we all go and the boys do great! Ed took the boys for a snack while I got 20 minutes of relaxation in the dentist chair. When I got to the car Adam was sleeping, the kids were still hungry and Ed was going back to work. My R&R was OVER!!!! Oh, and I was informed that Colby was going to bed 10 minutes early for hitting his brother. I am assuming that he hit Nickolas. WOW..... Get home the phone is ringing off the hook and we are trying to ignore it. Colby and I are trying to get homework done while Nick & Adam are crawling/running around the house.....Need I say more. Take a break to change a dirty diaper. Ask Nick to go play cars quietly and then get back to Colby before pulling my hair out. Adam was still being a bit fussy what is up? I know that he is teething and probably tired etc. We make the most of it and our hero Daddy came home. I ship Ed, Nick and Adam outside to play while we finish up the homework. Finally, we finish, dinner is ready and we are starving. Dinner was great a BBQ'd Tri Tip and some veggies. After dinner the boys played for a bit while Ed and I entertained Adam when suddenly he leaned over and bit my finger! Mind you we knew he had 1 tooth and was working on another but he had another. His top front tooth. Where did that come from? No wonder he was fussy. He is well on his way to being a little Jack 'o lantern with his 3 little teeth. He was so sweet about it and he got me back for not noticing his 3rd tooth sooner (although, Ed and I are convinced it wasn't there this morning). Beware of AJ he bites! I gave him a bottle and rocked him to sleep. I am happy to report all three of the boys are in bed. Thank Goodness!
